The Role
This role is a unique opportunity to shape the fundraising strategy during an exciting period of development. While specific knowledge of wrestling isn’t required, you must bring expertise in fundraising, combined with a collaborative and strategic mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a fundraising strategy with clear targets.
Build and nurture relationships with sponsors and partners.
Plan and manage effective fundraising campaigns and events.
Identify grant opportunities, prepare proposals, and ensure compliance.
Ensure fundraising activities meet legal and ethical standards.
Represent the organisation at external events and meetings.
Explore innovative channels to diversify revenue streams.
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorships, or grant management.
Strong track record in developing and executing successful fundraising campaigns.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors, partners and funding bodies.
Experience in writing compelling grant proposals and funding applications.
Knowledge of financial management and budgeting for fundraising initiatives.
Familiarity with fundraising regulations, compliance, and ethical standards.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with teams and external stakeholders.
