Tullibody Wrestling Club is also one of Scotland’s oldest active clubs. Originally founded as a boxing club in the 1960’s, the club was transformed by brothers Ronnie and Robert Mitchell who turned it into a successful wrestling club. While the club was originally closed in 1988, it was reborn under caches Alan Harper and Colin McLaren in 2005 and has continued to grow from strength to strength, with the club having several members (Brian Harper, Shannon Hawke and Chelsea Murphy) compete for Scotland at the 2014 Commonwealth games in Glasgow.
