Scottish Wrestling has made several changes to strengthen the organisation over the years. This work has ensured that we now have a strong foundation for the development of wrestling. The goal of the new strategy is to unite the wrestling community around a shared vision and build a sustainable organisation. The strategy is structured to satisfy the needs of our members while aligning with the wider strategic aims of British Wrestling, sportscotland - #sportforlife and the Scottish Government - Active Scotland Delivery Plan.
Our Purpose:
To support people to be active and achieve through wrestling. Throughout history, wrestling has been praised as an exceptional driver for achievement in sport and life. The skills and experiences gained in wrestling have helped countless people to be healthier, happier, more confident and triumph in their chosen field. There is a shared notion within the sport that wrestling is one of the best instruments to help people achieve. No matter the goals or backgrounds of people we want everyone to enjoy the benefits of wrestling and succeed. Wrestling has the ability to enrich the lives of individuals and communities, thereby contributing towards an active and successful Scotland.

We aim to build a Scottish Wrestling that is inclusive, accessible, sustainable, and capable of delivering our purpose at the highest level throughout the organisation. An SGB that can better support more people to be active and achieve through wrestling.
