Birmingham 2022 - Essential Information

It's finally arrived - our athletes are in the village and the 2022 Commonwealth Games have officially began.

Here is all the information you'll need to follow our athletes journey at the biggest sporting event of the year.

Watching the Action

The competition will take place at Coventry Stadium and Arena, with morning sessions starting at 10:30am.

For those watching at home, games action will be available as a live stream or on demand via the BBC iPlayer.

BBC1, 2, 3 and the red button will also have coverage. For a round up and highlights of the day, 'Tonight at the Games' will be on BBC1 each night with start times ranging between 10pm to 10:40pm.
